Research and education at the Institute of Technical Chemistry focus predominantly on heterogeneous catalysis and chemical reaction engineering. These fields are primarily explored by the various research groups situated at the ITC.
In addition to participating in numerous international collaborations — such as NEXT-GTL, CoPIRIDE, ENMIX or IEC — the ITC maintains several institutional partnerships.
